GOOD MORNING

🤖 The gist

Choosing the right software for your prototype can be tough.

For our newsletter release, we had to pick a publishing platform. The options were endless.

Every shiny object we came across promised to make our lives easier.

We decided to adopt a tool crafted by experts with a solid track record with newsletters. We were dazzled by fancy features and easy UX—hoping they would illuminate our path to success.

The tool's creators released updates frequently, and we were eager to try them out first. We opted into the beta as soon as it was announced.

We had to handle a fair share of bugs and glitches that came with the new release.

The daily troubleshooting disrupted our well-laid plans. It made us realize that we were seduced by the glare.

Don't get blinded by every early update when deciding on new technology. Consider the potential drawbacks of adopting too early—it will make your launch much smoother.

We'll be more patient next time. 👇🏽
