Today is the day we honor the birth and life of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.

Interestingly, it was 40 years ago that President Reagan signed off on the bill that made today a federal holiday. And, who do we have to thank for that? Stevie Wonder!

He not only sang for equality, but campaigned to have Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy memorialized. His ode to MLK was a raging success.
