Finding work as a new copywriter is as simple as ordering a gourmet bean burger on Uber Eats. There I sat, laptop in hand, with a growling stomach, ready to become the Julia Child of copywriting.

At the start, I was plagued by a scarcity mindset.

Is that really a thing?

It is—I was convinced nobody was looking for copywriters. But as the grumbling in my stomach grew louder, I stumbled upon Upwork.

The digital menu unfolded before my eyes, bursting with job options fresher than a just-picked tomato. I had the entire food court at my fingertips. There were countless available jobs added every day, much like an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Browsing through the menu of choices, the daily $1 burger deal caught my eye. It mocked my confidence and perception of worth. I started to believe that nobody would pay higher prices for my work.

Unfazed, I decided to upskill and gain more experience to overcome this.

Now, as I savor the offerings at Upwork, I see endless possibilities spread out before me.

Through this journey, I've learned a valuable lesson. By embracing growth and honing our skills, we can thrive and create a satisfying experience for both clients and ourselves.
