You know that thrill when you first blast down a waterslide, ready to plunge into adventure?

That's how I feel about diving into debugging—an exhilarating plunge into the whirlpool of code.

This time around, I decided to deploy the seemingly godlike powers of GPT-4 to plow through logs so I could focus on fixing issues instead of drowning in techno-babble.

Talk about a splash and crash.

I found myself rudely stranded on a bone-dry chute right smack in the middle of the ride. Just as I copied and pasted logs, my supposedly trusty AI rescuer smacked its usage limit and hit the reset button on our conversation.

One second I was barreling down the slide, the next I was high and dry, sputtering in the heat with nothing but a foam noodle and a pile of bugs for company.

So much for my oasis—here today, gone in a heartbeat. Silicon Valley, take note—AI's no good if it clocks out before the job's done. Here's hoping future tech can withstand the searing heat longer than a kiddie pool on a sizzling summer day.
