Remote Transparency

A minute to win it on transparency and information sharing for remote freelancers.

Remote work can be like the soothing sound of crashing waves. However, it’s not without a few heavy swells. Information sharing and transparent communication can be as hard as reeling in a 600-pound yellowfin.

To make things easier, our resident spear fisher Sam suggested open seas of free-flowing information in shared channels. Away with the pesky DMs that created too much friction on the line.

He thought it would calm the waters of efficiency by reducing silos.

Of course, he wasn’t prepared for the barrage of notifications Poseidon sent his way. His flow was capsized by schools of messages brought on by the increased transparency.

So he learned to mute channels and cast his lure with more precision when he needed to know something.
