It's Martin Luther King Jr. Day! Today is the day we honor the birth and life of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.

Interestingly, it was 40 years ago that President Reagan signed off on the bill that made today a federal holiday. And, who do we have to thank for that? Stevie Wonder!

He not only sang for equality, but campaigned to have Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy memorialized. His ode to MLK was a raging success.

Stories matter. Many stories matter.

Martin Luther King Jr. was one of the most moving orators in our history. So we felt it was appropriate to share this amazing speech that inspired us recently. It's called "The Danger of a Single Story" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

She talks about how listening to just one side of a story creates stereotypes and perpetuates limited perspectives. This can lead to a lack of empathy and understanding towards those who are different from us.
